GRPMS (Fareham, U.K.), a member of Umeco Composites Structural Materials (UCSM) - a Division of Umeco plc, has signed a contract with Jushi Glass Fibre (Tongxiang, China) to act as exclusive U.K. distributor for its glass fiber reinforcement materials.

Jushi, says GRPMS, is the world's largest manufacturer of glass reinforcement, with sales into all major market sectors.

Tony Bibby, managing director for GRPMS, who signed the contract on behalf of the company, also received an award from Jushi for being its Fastest Growing Overseas Distributor for 2010. He commented: "We achieved this position after less than two years of selling the Jushi range, and to be an exclusive partner with the world's leading manufacturer of reinforcement provides a number of exciting opportunities for both parties. The Jushi range of products is also an excellent fit with our recent expansion into new markets."
