GRPMS Expands Agreement to Distribute Ashland Performance Materials in the French Composites Market
GRPMS, a member of Umeco Composites Structural Materials (UCSM) - a Division of Umeco plc, has extended its agreement with Ashland Performance Materials (APM) to distribute their complete portfolio of high-performance composites and structural adhesives products to the French composites market.
The agreement, which will come into effect on December 1st, will extend an existing partnership covering the distribution of products throughout the UK, Scandinavia, Estonia and Finland, the latter of which was added to GRMPS' contract on the 1st October 2010.
GRPMS will take over Ashland's distribution and agency accounts from Azelis - France (Arnaud S.A.), and will distribute Ashland's full line of polyester, acrylic, phenolic and vinyl ester resins, including the Derakane resin brand. Also included in the agreement for the French composites market are the Pliogrip branded structural adhesives, and premium gelcoats and low profile additives.
