We are proud to sponsor our Swedish Sales Manager Ulf Brändström on his 2011 Transat 6,5 campaign. Ulf will be competing in one of the toughest single handed races in the world. He will be one of 90 competitors attempting the brutal 8,000km crossing from La Charente-Maritime-France to Bahia in Brazil.

Ulf was brought into the offshore world of sailing at an early age. After thousands of sea miles delivering yachts to places all over the world, and after more than 10 years ashore he is now ready to embark the ocean again.

Ulf recently competed in the tough and dangerous Mini Fastnet, an annual race between Brittany and the mythical Fastnet Rock situated at Ireland's extreme south-west in the county of Cork. In the GRPMS sponsored Ocean Challenge boat he finished 11^th in his class. A great achievement and great preparation for next years Mini Transat.
